It Started With Cracks
My parents started noticing cracks in the house. First the walls, then the ceiling, and finally the stone tile. They called out some foundation experts, the kind that show up with a warranty and a money back guarantee. The problem went away for a few weeks. Then it came back.
Then the kitchen sink stopped draining. They called a plumbing company, one that has breakfast meat in the name, and were told it was no problem to fix. Nine thousand dollars later they had a brand new kitchen sewer drain. The problems kept coming.

Three Foundation Companies and a Lot of Texas Dirt
At this point three different foundation companies had been out to the house. One of them, Olshan's Foundation Repair, actually did the job right and leveled the house the way it needed to be done. Shoutout to them, they were solid.
The other companies? Every time they came back out they pointed at the soil. That's just how Texas dirt is. The money back guarantee that was promised upfront never got honored. My parents were stuck in a blame game where every contractor pointed at the last guy's work and moved on.
What Sergio Found
A family member ran into Sergio at a home improvement store and recommended him. My dad called him out just to get a second look. Sergio came out and started asking questions. Then he started opening things up.
He found a leaking HVAC duct in the ceiling that had been sitting there holding moisture.
He found termite rotted beams in the dining room above the back door.
He found void spaces under the foundation. One in the dining room and one in the master bathroom. They had not been filled with the right material, just left empty or filled with regular dirt. Sergio filled them with the proper compacting material that actually packs and stabilizes. Those voids could have become a serious structural problem.
Every one of those things had been there the whole time. Every contractor of every trade had been through that house and not one of them said a word.
Things could have gotten much worse, and my parents would not have known.

How It All Ended
The final price came in a little higher than the original quote because of all the extra work that came up. That is fair. What is not so common is that Sergio did some of those repairs for free. He also finished a couple weeks ahead of schedule.
Sheetrock, plumbing, foundation, tile. Contractors from every trade had been through that house. Sergio and his team at Olvera's Remodeling were the only ones who not only found the real problems but actually fixed them.
Why I Work Here Now
I am not just promoting a business. I am genuinely grateful that Sergio was able to help my parents. Grateful enough that when he mentioned needing help building a better online presence, I said yes without even thinking about it.
Not only would I trust Olvera's Remodeling Services with my house or yours, I started working for him because of what I watched him do for my family.
